CMC representative attends Vietnam – Kanagawa Seminar 2019

On November 18, the Vietnam – Kanagawa Seminar 2019 was held in Hanoi with the participation of senior leaders from the government and enterprises of two countries including representatives from CMC Corporation.

Within the framework of the conference, Mr. Nguyen Trung Chinh, Chairman/CEO of CMC had a meeting with Kanagawa Governor, Mr. Kuroiwa Yuji and senior leaders on related issues. Besides, representative from CMC Global, Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Lien – Head of Marketing Department talked about the cooperation between CMC Corporation (Vietnam) and Kanagawa Province (Japan). “Besides the physical supports from Japan government and Kanagawa authority, we received a warm welcome from people here. The Kanagawa authority has created favorable conditions for Vietnamese businesses to invest in, thus enhancing the relationship between the two countries. Japan is one of our major markets and it is the first country we choose to open a new branch. This has shown our long-term strategy for the market” – she shared.

The event had the participation of Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment, Mr. Nguyen Van Trung and Kanagawa Governor, Mr. Kuroiwa Yuji, and leaders from big corporations that promise to bring precious opportunities for businesses as well as opening up chances for cooperation between Vietnam and Japan in the future.

The Vietnam – Kanagawa Seminar 2019 is within the framework of Kanagawa Festival in Hanoi 2019 (Kanagawa Festival in Hanoi 2019), held in Hanoi in November 2019, including cultural and trade exchange programs with the purpose of enhancing the understanding of Vietnamese tourists about tourism and business destinations in Kanagawa, contributing to strengthen the relationship and promote cultural exchange between two countries. The Kanagawa Festival was first held in 2018 and this year was the second event to be held in the Capital of Vietnam.
